The 4-day work week is reduction in the work week from a standard 40 hours to 32 hours for the same pay and benefits.

The purpose and aims of the four-day week is to encourage business, employees, researchers, and government to all play their part in creating a new way of working which will improve business productivity, worker health outcomes, stronger families and communities, challenge the gender equality issue, and work towards a more sustainable work environment. 4 Day Week Global is currently running a pilot program in United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel. The pilot programme is a coordinated, 6-month trial of a 4-day working week, with no loss in pay for employees. We are launching new programmes every quarter in different regions.

Learning outcomes:

We advocate for 100% of the pay, 80% of the time, but critically in exchange for 100% of the productivity.
4 Day Week can improve – productivity, wellbeing, engagement, recruitment, sustainability, gender equality, and innovation.
6-month pilot programme of 4-day week, with no loss in pay for employees.

This course provides an overview of the best practices of disability management and serves as an introduction to what a fulsome and productive disability management program looks like in an organization. By the end of this course, you’ll have the foundations you need to begin developing and using best practices in the workplace including resources and approaches. You can use this to improve your existing practices or as the starting point for developing a disability management system. What You’ll Learn:

If you participated in Part 1 of this series, you’ll remember navigating the basics of disability management. You identified how to understand disability management and you developed a plan for disability management in your workplace. You may recall some of the benefits of implementing effective disability management systems at work. You took a look at your own company\'s practices to identify opportunities for improvement. In this program, you’ll take what you’ve learned and apply it to a fictional company as well as your own company. You’ve learned a lot but there’s always more to learn.

After this course you\'ll be able to:

Identify and use key terms and definitions
Define undue hardship associated with accommodation and make decisions about how your organization can support persons with disabilities
Manage episodic or short-term disabilities
Plan for return to work accommodations, including the role of health care professionals
Conduct a SWOT analysis
Collect data in the workplace and apply it to make decisions
Set and use SMART goals to improve disability management in the workplace
Develop an action plan and use project management frameworks to implement change
And implement best practices
